Eddie Money, the vocalist, and musician that was known for hits from the 1970s and 1980s, for example, "Child Hold On" and "Take Me Home Tonight," kicked the bucket Friday morning following entanglements from esophageal malignancy, his family declared. 

He was 70. 

"It is with crushing sadness that we bid farewell to our adoring spouse and father. It's so difficult to envision our reality without him, anyway he will live on everlastingly through his music," the Money family's announcement read.
